Here at Game If You Are, we have a soft spot for wholesome games. If it’s cute and cuddly, it’s bound to win us over. That’s why we’re delighted to see two of our wonderful clients featured in Wholesome Direct, an online video showcase highlighting the best and brightest upcoming adorable games.
Wholesome Games has been running just over a year, during which time it has gathered over 30,000 followers on Twitter. This will be the first ever Wholesome Direct event, and provides an opportunity for game developers who are now unable to attend large events due to global circumstances.
Weaving Tides, the gorgeous woven dragon adventure, will be taking a deserved victory lap after absolutely smashing their Kickstarter campaign (there’s still time to donate here!). The player uses traditional crafting techniques to repair tears in the world. We loved working on this project and watching it flourish.
Snacko, the adorable pixel art farm-em-up will also be taking part, following the announcement of their upcoming Steam release. Created by the married couple behind Bluecurse Studios, Snacko promises calming, retro-inspired town planning and gentle adventure.
Wholesome Direct will take place on May 26, beginning at 1pm ET live on Youtube. We can’t wait to tune in and see all the charming games involved!
