On each campaign, you’ll work under the guidance of a senior marketer and can expect to contribute across both strategy and delivery. You’ll frequently collaborate with colleagues as well as commissioning freelancers and third-party agencies to support the delivery of a best-in-class indie game marketing services.

The role would be well-suited to someone passionate about video games with around 1-2 years of commercial marketing, agency or PR experience looking to take their next career step; or someone with other relevant games or games-adjacent experience looking to move into marketing and PR.

  • Coordinating project activities and planning out workload both internally and with external partners
  • Communicating with clients – in video calls or via email
  • Writing press releases and pitching to journalists and influencers
  • Creating and publishing social media and community content
  • Setting, monitoring, and driving toward key performance indicators and milestone targets
  • Commissioning, briefing and managing creative freelancers such as artists, illustrators, designers, and video producers
  • Producing client-facing documentation including proposals, project plans and campaign reports
  • Undertaking individual and group learning activities, ensuring your knowledge of marketing and the games sector remains up-to-date
  • Representing Game If You Are in the wider world – via social media or, occasionally, in person at events

You’ll ideally have previous experience working in an agency environment or similarly fast paced workplace with multiple workstreams – bonus points if that was in the world of video games.
