Want to be our new
Lead Client Marketing Manager?
Advert date: 8 February 2022 // Closing date: 4 March 2022
Game If You Are is a leading full-service marketing agency, dedicated to small-to-medium-sized video games companies. Fiercely passionate about the indie game scene, we design and deliver innovative and impactful campaigns – at a price that makes sense for solo developers, small studios and micro-publishers.
Over the past couple of years, we’ve worked with some of the most exciting names in the indie game space – such as tinyBuild, Bossa Studios, and Armor Games Studios – as our agency continues to grow and evolve.
Now, we’re looking to bolster our team with a new Lead Client Marketing Manager to oversee a roster of client accounts and their associated campaigns. Working alongside another Lead Client Marketing Manager and reporting to the Head of Client Marketing, you’ll bring your creative mindset – as well as your excellent leadership and client relationship skills – to an exciting and fast-paced role. Leading a small team of Campaign Managers, you’ll deliver a best-in-class games marketing service that makes a tangible difference to our clients’ commercial potential.
Diversity & Inclusion: We are constantly looking to improve the diversity of our team, and believe passionately in the value of different backgrounds, cultures, and life experiences. If you don’t see many people like you working in similar roles, we’d especially love to hear from you.
Main responsibilities.
Heading up a small team, lead the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns for our clients.
Own key client relationships, developing trust and proactively seeking new opportunities.
Provide strategic and tactical direction across all accounts, generating bold and inventive campaign ideas for clients.
Drive and maintain exemplary standards of delivery and client satisfaction within your team.
Be accountable for the quality of your team’s work and the results achieved by their campaigns.
Manage project schedules and budgets.
Lead your team’s professional development via regular check-ins, reviews, and training activities.
Contribute to new business development – attending calls and meetings, events, networking opportunities etc.

We're looking for...
Experience managing client or stakeholder relationships, ideally in an agency environment.
Experience leading small teams and nurturing new talent.
A creative problem-solver with an eye for innovative and offbeat opportunities; unafraid of taking calculated risks.
A deep understanding of the video games sector, with an always-be-learning attitude.
A driven, dedicated mindset, motivated by the desire to achieve exemplary results.
Someone who is data-informed and can set – and strategically build toward – ambitious measurable goals.
Someone organised and disciplined; unfailingly reliable and a leader by example.
An effective delegator, with the ability to triage, assign and review large volumes of work in an efficient manner.
An exceptional communicator, with as much of a gift for listening as for speaking or writing.
An effective pace-setter who thrives in an energetic environment.
Ability to switch between thinking about the bigger picture and getting stuck into the day-to-day, depending on the needs of the business and its clients.
You’ll really impress us if…
…you come with established games industry and media connections.
…you have additional experience in client-side marketing roles.
…you have performance marketing / user acquisition expertise.
…have a demonstrable history of successfully marketing indie games.
